INCIDIN Bangladesh

INCIDIN Bangladesh also participates in other social researches as a part of its community development programs. The function of the researches is two-fold : Firstly, they support both the macro and micro level planers to formulate development strategies. Secondly, they help INCIDIN Bangladesh to chalk-out its intervention policy regarding the relevant sectors. The overriding goal of the activities is to empower people through building capacity of research, planning, monitoring and evaluation. INCIDIN Bangladesh perceives participatory research as the key element of its organization building assistance program for the grassroots level actors.

At present the major research focus lies on:

1. Trafficking and Migration of women and children (internal and cross boarder),
2. Child rights and sexual exploitation of children,
3. Labour rights and the impact of international trade policies on Bangladesh workers and farmers,
4. People’s Organization.

INCIDIN Bangladesh over the years has acquired extensive experience in evaluating and strategic planning of several programs of NGOs, GOs and donor agencies. Here, we focus on participatory process and ensuring people’s participation in the space and process of such endeavour.
Furthermore, INCIDIN Bangladesh provides support to small rural NGOs and activist groups in participatory strategic planning, developing monitoring and evaluation system and building capacity of the small initiatives in carrying forward such activities.
