INCIDIN Bangladesh

INCIDIN Bangladesh believes in perusing the goal of industrial development through the creation of Small and Rural Industries (SRI) and a supportive marketing network of the marginal rural producers, in line with the need and capabilities of different communities, as well as, in harmony with the structure and need of the national economy.

To meet the planning vacuum INCIDIN Bangladesh contributes as a deliberation council. It focuses on bringing people at the center of development planning and ensuring peoples effective participation in the planning space.

INCIDIN Bangladesh also functions as a pressure group to ensure the interest of the community and environment in the national plans regarding growth and development, and promotes the policy of a marriage of economy, ecology and community.

At present the major activities of this division is centered on protecting and promoting people’s rights in the process of ‘globalization’: Campaign for Peoples Right in Liberalization (CPRL), Marginalized Farmers Rights Campaign (Our Agriculture is Our Life).
